    2010 annual meeting
    TO THE PRESIDENTS OF THE MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS Antwerp, 26th August 2010 Dear Sirs, Re : 2010 Assembly I have the pleasure of informing you that the 2010 annual meeting of the Assembly has been fixed for Wednesday 27th October 2010. The meeting will start at 2:30 p.m. and the venue is the Marriott Plaza Hotel, Buenos Aires. I would be grateful if you would let me know who will be the delegate(s) of your Association at this meeting. A registration form is attached herewith. Each Association will receive by email a copy of the Agenda and the meeting documents with a request to pass this bundle to any delegates who may be representing your Association at the Assembly meeting. I would be grateful if the Presidents of the Member Associations who have any proposals for elections, other than those proposed by the Nominating Committee, could let me have these not later than 30th September 2010.     Colloquium Buenos Aires 2010

Besides the academic activities, the Colloquium will be a new chance to deepen the friendship between those who in the past have attended the /Comité Maritime International/ meetings and for those who come for the very first time to gain new friends. The /Asociación Argentina de Derecho Marítimo/ is organizing a Social Program for the participants and their accompanying persons; this program includes a Tango Show, a gala dinner at Yacht Club Puerto Madero, visits to varied places in Buenos Aires , the most European of South American cities, and a trip through the Delta of the Parana River . Before or after the Colloquium, the participants will have the opportunity to visit different destinations in our country, such as Bariloche and its lakes, Calafate and the Perito Moreno Glacier, the Iguazu Falls surrounded by a subtropical rainforest, and the Argentinean Northwest with its native villages. The Asociación Argentina de Derecho Marítimo is making every effort to ensure that the Colloquium’s participants enjoy their stay in Argentina in the lovely spring of the Southern Hemisphere.

    C.M.I. 2009 Annual Assembly

    I have the pleasure of informing you that the 2009 annual meeting of the Assembly has been fixed for Wednesday 23rd September 2009.  The meeting will start at 3 p.m. and the venue is the Van Nelle Design Factory, 1st Floor (Tearoom), Van Nelleweg 1 at Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

    I would be grateful if you would let me know who will be the delegate(s) of your Association at this meeting.  A registration form is attached herewith.

    Each Association will receive by email a copy of the meeting documents with a request to pass this bundle to any delegates who may be representing your Association at the Assembly meeting.  I attach herewith the Agenda.
