The Annual Meeting of Young CMI Norway is expected to take place 23 January 2019. At the Annual Meeting, seven seats on the Board of the association will be up for election.
The Board is responsible for the management of Young CMI Norway and thereby the promotion of interest in and development of maritime law. As a member of the Board, you will amongst other things take part in arranging lectures, discussions and social activities for young people with an interest in maritime law. We refer you to the website of Young CMI Norway (http://www.sjorettsforeningen.no/site/young-cmi-norway) and the association’s Facebook pages (https://www.facebook.com/YoungCMI/) for further information in that respect. At the website, you may also find the names and contact details of the current members of the Board.
If you are interested in serving on the Board or would like to suggest other possible candidates, we encourage you to submit an e-mail to one of the members of the Nomination Committee, setting out the name, place of employment and position of the nominee, as well as a short (max. 250 words) reasoning/letter of motivation.

According to the by-laws of Young CMI Norway, members of the Board must be under the age of 40 at the time of election and have a membership affiliation with the Norwegian Maritime Law Association (“Den norske sjørettsforening”) either through personal membership or company membership.
To ensure that the Nomination Committee may consider your proposal, we kindly ask that you submit same within 20 December 2018.
