The Norwegian Maritime Law Association is a member association of  Comité Maritime International (CMI). Publications, news letters, preparatory works and other documents prepared by CMI can be found at CMI's web site.

NMLA bases its work on its statutes. The organisation's work is coordinated by the board of directors. Every year the association invites all members to an annual members' meeting, during which the associations annual report and finances are approved. The minutes from these annual meetings can be found here.
